FAQs
-
The cost of a tattoo relies on many factors such as size, placement, difficulty and time of design, amount of detail, etc.
Fine line, detailed pieces take more time to tattoo than thick bold lines and traditional work. My preferred style contains mostly fine lines and small details.
My tattoos are priced at an individual flat rate starting at $350.
Generally, I charge around 800 to 1500 for a full day session.
- Traveling to other states will result in higher rates to cover expenses for traveling. ( please ask if you have any questions ).
However, this is just an estimate. A lot of factors such as detail, placement, last moment changes etc. go into pricing, so it might be more (or less!) depending on the tattoo.

Yes - deposits are between $100 to $200 depending the session. It is a drawing fee as well as a confirmation and hold of the date/time we’ve discussed for your appointment. They are non-refundable, and do not go towards the total at the end of the session (only in specific cases).
In most cases, this fee will also cover any small changes to the design necessary before beginning to tattoo. If you need to make any big changes such as placement or design elements that were not specified in the description you gave, you may be charged for the time taken to redraw.
If you change your mind about something, please let us know as soon as you can! This will help alleviate the possibility of being charged more, and make for a much smoother appointment.
Notes:
This deposit reserves your scheduled appointment slot + Drawing fees:
>For less complicated or smaller designs: This deposit will be deducted from the final cost of our tattoo.
>When dawing fee applies:
-There are major design changes after our consult or inicial idea.
-lengthy time redesigning.
>For more complex and/or larger designs , or in circumstances of exaggerated/lengthy time redesigning ;
-This deposit will be considered a drawing fee- separate of the final tattoo appointment cost.

That’s okay, let us know as soon as you’re able to! If it’s far enough in advance, we may be able to reschedule without requiring a new deposit. If it is less than twoweeks away, it’s likely we’ll require another deposit to secure a rescheduled date and time.

Please fill out the request form on this website. It goes straight to my booking agent in our email. Once they respond, you can further discuss your design and all the juicy details. Be as specific as possible and include pictures whenever you can. They can answer any other questions not listed here, give you an estimate, find you a date, and confirm your appointment.
While we usually get back in less than a week, sometimes emails get lost or accidentally left on read. If you haven’t heard back in more than three weeks, feel free to send a follow up.
Sometimes we have a waitlist. If this is the case we will let you know you’ve been added to it and reach out when we have openings. If you have been placed on the wait-list and it has been more than eight weeks, feel free to send a follow up.

YES! I require you to send reference photos at the time of booking. These might be of elements you want in the design, photos of my work, ideal placement, size, etc. The better the reference photos are, the easier it is for me to design something you will love.

The day before and morning of, please eat adequate meals, hydrate hydrate, and do not consume alcohol. To the session, bring appropriate & comfortable clothing, water, snacks, and any comfort items. Appropriate clothing can mean: a button down shirt, tank top, shorts, bra, or shawl depending on placement of your design. If you’re not sure, bring a change of clothes that can adapt to any placement changes. We do not suggest light colored clothing or items you’d like to keep spotless - small ink splatters can happen.
Unless otherwise specified, appointments start at 12:00 noon and you should expect to spend the rest of the day at the shop. If you're in a time crunch the date you're scheduled, let's reschedule.
No numbing cream, please! Use only mild soap and lotion on your skin the week prior your appointment.
-
The morning of your appointment! There will be time to review, tweak, and adjust the design at the start of the session. If this is a deal breaker for you, let us know and I will do my best to adjust accordingly.
Also we can arrange a consultation time (online / in person ) for medium to large pieces.
Small adjustments are to be expected, but if you have communicated clearly what you are asking for it most likely won’t take long to get it just right! :)
-
It depends on what day your appointment is - the studio is shared with three other artists. Unfortunately usually not.
-
Please self-assess before you come to the studio. If you have any covid symptoms or feel unwell at all, let’s reschedule! Everything is sanitized before and after every session.
-
I am only able to take about 20% of proposed projects, please don’t take it personally if there is no response - I really appreciate everyone who reaches out to me, but sometimes it is not possible for me to take all projects.
If you don’t get selected this time please reapply on the next time that books open.
-

##Tattoo Aftercare Instructions with Saniderm (Single Application)
1. **Leave the Initial Bandage On**:
- After your tattoo session, your artist will apply a Saniderm bandage. Keep this bandage on for 3-7 days. It creates a protective barrier that helps your tattoo heal by preventing bacteria and contaminants from entering.
2. **Monitor the Bandage**:
- During the 3-7 days, check your tattoo under the Saniderm bandage daily. It's normal to see some fluid accumulation, which is part of the healing process. If the bandage starts to peel off or leak, you may need to replace it with a new one or remove it.
3. **Remove the Saniderm Bandage**:
- After 3-7 days, gently remove the Saniderm bandage. The easiest way to do this is in the shower with warm water. Slowly peel the bandage back over itself, rather than pulling it away from your skin, to minimize irritation.
4. **Clean Your Tattoo**:
- Once the bandage is removed, wash your tattoo gently with lukewarm water and a mild, fragrance-free soap. Use your hands to clean the area, not a washcloth. Pat the tattoo dry with a clean paper towel or allow it to air dry.
5. **Moisturize Your Tattoo**:
- After cleaning, let your tattoo air out for a few hours. Then, start applying a thin layer of coconut oil to moisturize your tattoo. Do this 2-3 times a day for the next two weeks. Coconut oil will keep your skin hydrated and aid in the healing process.
6. **Continue Moisturizing**:
- Continue using coconut oil as needed to keep your tattoo moisturized. This helps prevent itching and flaking as your tattoo heals. Avoid over-moisturizing, as it can suffocate the skin and prolong the healing process.
7. **General Care Tips**:
- **Avoid Sun Exposure**: Keep your tattoo out of direct sunlight to prevent fading and irritation.
- **No Scratching or Picking**: Refrain from scratching or picking at your tattoo, even if it itches, to prevent scarring and delayed healing.
- **Stay Hydrated**: Drink plenty of water to support your skin's healing process from the inside out.
By following these steps, you can ensure your tattoo heals properly and looks its best. If you notice any signs of infection, such as excessive redness, swelling, or pus, contact your tattoo artist or a healthcare professional immediately.
